Daydreams turned to Nightmares

Daydreams turned to Nightmares - 24 May 2006

I always wanted to do a comic book adventure with Apple Scruffs (link), so I came up with an idea where Hawkeye falls asleep and travels through this weird dream world, having all these adventures, you know real off-the-wall stuff, all the while trying to get back to the 'real world'. Above is a sample sketch of what it may of looked like, I wanted a washed-over watercolor look instead of full digital. I was also going to totally rip off Wizard of Oz and have the 'real world' in black and white with the 'dream world' in vibrant colors.

This is kind of an old one so bear with me. I recently applied to the Air Force Academy (and still waiting to hear if I am accepted or not) and came up with an idea for a comic. It's basically about an anti-hero cadet who learns about an evil plot that his country's government has concocted, and it's up to him to stop the outbreak of a global war. I realize that the story sounds really basic, but I'm still writing it at this time.
